OVERVIEW
Back in 1992, the Kenny Obayashi JV purchased a 10yd3 Maxcrete from Maxon Industries. Today, the JV is still operating that Maxcrete and currently has it in the South Hartford Conveyance and Storage Tunnel (SHCST).
The tunnel will be a four-mile long, 18ft diameter overflow wastewater tunnel with the capabilities of storing 41.5 million gallons. The tunnel is part of the Metropolitan District of Hartford, Connecticut’s Clean Water Project.
