On January 7, 2019 Maxon equipment assisted the Navayuga Engineering Company Limited at the Polavarm Dam Project to set the Guinness World Records of largest continuous concrete pour of 32,315.5 m³ (1,141,211.1 ft³) and most concrete continuously poured  in 24 hours.

When finished, the Polavaram Project will be the largest water storage and irrigation system consisting of a 1118.90m spillway with (48) 20m high by 16m wide gates. This calls for 38.1 lahk cubic meters of concrete, 50,000 mT of steel, and 93,100 mT of cement. Polavaram will have a live storage capacity of 2,136 million cusecs and will have a reliable supply of water for a population of 20 million. Polavaram will also generate 960 MW of power. It will also have the discharge capacity of 5 million cusecs it will surpass China’s 3 Gorges Dam at 4.7 million.

(20) 9m³ Maxon Agitors and (5) Maxon Surgecretes were onsite and in use during the process of breaking the Guinness World Records.

Maxon Agitors were filled from 10 batching plants then transported and discharged the concrete to the Maxon Surgecrete hoppers.

The Maxon Surgecretes accepted full loads from the Agitors and maintained a continuous, metered flow to the Telebelt – eliminating any down time between Agitors leaving the next preparing to discharge.
